A Canadian Chinese, Raymond is an Executive Coach with OI Partners Hong Kong. He is a seasoned professional in the field of human resources management with over 18 years’ experience working in Hong Kong and Canada. Before joining OI Partners, Raymond held management positions in big organisations such as HK Cable TV, the Municipal Government of Toronto and Hong Kong Telecom.

Raymond has immense experience in running the full spectrum of human resources functions including selection, performance management, compensation and benefits, employment relations and training and development. He is strong in designing human resources solutions to enhance organisational effectiveness including organisation design, performance management systems, manpower planning strategy, salary and grading structure and labour relations resolutions. Raymond was the chairperson on the negotiation table, handling the unions on pay and grading issues when working for the Municipal Government of Toronto. He was regarded as the expert in handling employee relations.

Raymond has a strong passion for training and development. During the last 16 years, he has been a part-time lecturer of various institutes including the Open University and H.K. Polytechnic University.

Raymond has a Masters degree in Human Resources Management from Macquarie University in Australia, a Diploma in Personnel Management and a Diploma in Industrial Relations from the University of Hong Kong.

Raymond is fluent in English, Putonghua and Cantonese. He is an active member of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resources Management.
