Robin is the founder of OI Partners Hong Kong. He has over 25 years experience of both managing operations and developing people. Following a first career as an Officer in the Royal Navy, he specialised in Human Resource Development and worked in a range of industries from oil services to travel.

Robin first came to Hong Kong in 1976, and since then has spent half his time in the Region, and half in the UK.

After 5 years of managing training for a national oil services company in London, he returned to Hong Kong in 1995 and set Management Development Services Ltd. (MDS), followed by OI Partners in 1998. Robin has a particular specialty in management coaching for leadership and teamwork, and has designed and delivered over 15 different programmes for management development and career transition.

He is an experienced coach and an accredited practitioner for Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the Strategic Leadership Development (SLD).

Robin has a first degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Leeds and has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Beijing. He has a Master of Management degree in Human Resource Management from Macquarie University, Sydney and lectures in cross-cultural management, organisational behaviour, and human resource management for several university programmes in Hong Kong. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (UK) and the institute of Human Resource Management (HK).
